Gianluca Gaiba

Born in the 70s, hailing from Bologna where he grew up among rock, punk, Jazz, crossover, Gianluca Gaiba played rock guitar for several years before moving on to jazz and electronic.

As Shiranami his focus is on designing sound environments and soundscapes handling different samples, playing various instruments in unconventional manner and creating innovative sounds through the use of synthesizers.

As Armoteque – refined downtempo project- produces the album “Find position” in 2011 and “Dusting the Plants” in 2017, the latest together with y:dk and Federico Bologna.
